M-PESA STK Push allows you to initiate payment requests on a customer’s phone. 

This guide walks you through how to go live using WooPesa and Daraja by Safaricom.

 Create a Daraja Developer Account at https://developer.safaricom.co.ke. Sign up or log in to access API products.

Create a new App under ‘My Apps’. Select the product MPESA Express (STK Push)

Generate API credentials (Consumer Key and Consumer Secret) from your app dashboard.

 Test your integration using sandbox environment.

Click ‘Go Live’ in the app dashboard and fill out business details, shortcode, and MPESA

username.

Wait for approval from Safaricom. You’ll get an email confirming your production app and

admin instructions.

 Once approved, switch to live credentials, update URLs, and you’re good to go live.
